BROOKLYN, NY, January 2, 2014 — MarketSmiths Content Strategists, a creative copywriting agency, has centralized its offices at 67 West Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The agency is leasing a fourth floor office from GreenDesk, provider of flexible Brooklyn workspaces.
The building, a repurposed rope factory, is home to a range of creatives and entrepreneurs, from artists and gallery spaces to web designers, financial service providers, and prop fabricators. “We love the new space and are thrilled to be sharing it. There’s a real creative energy here. It’s an inspiring place to be,” says Gregory M. Lewis, MarketSmiths copywriter.
The move reflects the company’s recent growth. The past six months have seen two new staffers, and numerous large-scale projects. “We needed a broad and creative space to collaborate,” says MarketSmiths CEO and TEDx alum Jean Tang. “GreenDesk’s industrial vibe, warm ambiance, and spacious conference rooms are ideal.”
Ms. Tang founded MarketSmiths in 2010 as the antidote to bland corporate-speak—and the source for inspiring, engaging copywriting and content. The nimble company flourished, providing content strategy—and engaging content—for B2B and B2C companies, and digital and web agencies such as Vanguard Direct and SM&KK Studios. MarketSmiths is slated to conduct its first hands-on writing workshop at the Meet Up Pavilion of 2014 South by Southwest Trade Show on March 9.
