The Synopsis

We are heavy contributors to LinkedIn’s talent blog, a go-to source for in-house recruiters. We pitch, we report, we write, and we incorporate client feedback—all in the service of informing this professional audience, and making their lives easier, more fun, and more richly potent. 

The Challenge

It was tough but rewarding to learn how to think like technology recruiters—and to apply our client’s specific tonal preferences. Once we’d surmounted the learning curve, we started to land pitches and stories, and effectively help augment a notoriously tough editorial team.

The Result

Instead of one designated writer, our client got a team of three, sharing ideas, reporting, research, information, and collaboration. Our bylined (and non-bylined) articles have often gone viral to the tune of 30,000 to 120,000 views. For example, the illustrated post (about interview questions that uncover hidden strengths) utilized both our idea and our writing: it gathered 108,000+ page views, 6,800+ Facebook likes, and 5,000+ shares.
