After a brief stint as an actress (career highlight: Hamlet‘s Ophelia, in an insane asylum), Elizabeth decided she preferred writing her own words to reciting those of others. She still loves getting into character to write in the voice of her clients, creating everything from email campaigns to blog posts and website copy.

A Colorado native, Elizabeth now lives in Brooklyn with her two daughters. She writes about single motherhood on ESME.com, and her personal essays can be found at SheSaid, xoJane, YourTango, and Elite Daily. She runs a nine-minute-mile, bakes a mean chocolate chip cookie, and never forgets to floss.
